Patient Appreciation Event

Patient Appreciation Event on February 12th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at SWAN Rehab. SWAN Rehab wants to invite all patients, old and new, to our first Patient Appreciation Event. Come and enjoy food, refreshments and entertainment with the SWAN Rehab staff. Every patient who attends will automatically be entered into a raffle to win special prizes. Every patient that brings a prospective patient to the event will receive five extra raffle tickets. Please call (602)393-0520 and R.S.V.P by February 1st, 2010.


Stroke Support Group
The goal of our support group is to provide an opportunity to meet other stroke survivors and caregivers in a fun, supportive environment. SWAN's Stroke Support Group meets the second Wednesday of each month between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. at SWAN. Survivors, caregivers, and family members welcome! Guest speakers are common, offering information on resources, community opportunities for stroke survivors/caregivers, and topics related to the health and well-being of those affected by stroke.

STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
SWAN Rehab has the opportunity to work with other institutions to stay on the cutting edge of rehabilitation of stroke and neurological rehabilitation.

We are partnering with AT Still University in a study that you might be a candidate for.

  1. Whole-body Intensive Neuro-rehab (WIN) is a 4-week intervention of 3 hours per day of PT and OT, 4 days per week. Study participants will be paid for several sessions of pre and post testing.
